The Government of Sri Lanka established the National School of Business Management, under the affiliation of NIBM, with the authority to conduct degree awarding and other certificate courses. We were appointed as the Educational Facility Planner and Codesign Architect for this exciting University New-Town-Style project, which contains the following zones: Public Zone: Business Park organized around an Urban Square with an Auditorium, Exhibition, Conventional, Commercial, Incubation Space.- Semi-Public Zone: Bridge between Public & Academic containing Administration, Library, Restaurant, and Recreational Facilities. Semi-Private Zone: Knowledge- Construction & Dissemination Containers, for Faculties, Lecture Hall, Laboratories. Private Zone: Living quarters for Students & Staff Residences. With 950,000 sq. ft. of built-up area in approx. 26 acres (full site area – 150 acres), it is a premier institute in Colombo. NSBM Green University Town has earned the distinction of being South Asia’s first green university, paving the way for more green buildings in the education sector in the region.
