Located in Mayasem, the new Kunskapsskolan (KED) school in Jeddah comprises a primary school, a separate boys and girls school and arena buildings. It incorporates the Swedish Kunskapsskolan (KED) pedagogical program. The basic idea that drives learning at KED is that all students are different and that they learn at different places and in different ways. To complement the same, the design facilitates an innovative learning program, making way for a unique education experience.

Creating a fresh look for learning facilities, the design of the building celebrates craft and innovation. The screens and the window arrangements take inspiration from traditional Islamic architecture, yet convey an architectural language which is both modern and progressive. In addition, small learning communities focusing on students form the core of the schools. Room arrangements are made with great care and attention to ensure that they are in sync with school functions and programs, thus creating a complete environment.
